Open Source Engineer, Developer

  • Candidates with Python, Qt, GTK+ programming experience will get higher preference.
  • Mid or High level C/C++ programmer.
  • Web 2.0 experienced.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL.
  • Dedicated, responsible and able to work under pressure to meet deadline.
• Additional Job Requirements
  • Be motivated to work for a social project and to continue learning while working.
  • Have a good level of computer literacy (Email, Internet, Mailing lists, Online forums, Blogs and etc).
  • Good resource planning skills, ability to meet deadlines and start within a short notice.
  • Having a broader perspective of the use of Information Communication Technology for Development.
  • Have good proactive personality, self-initiative, time management and interpersonal skills, discipline, ability to work as part of a team member and under pressure, and be able to work with little supervision.
  • Familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system will be considered an advantage.

  • High proficiency in both Bangla and English languages.
  • Rich vocabulary in both these languages.
  • Ability to write lucid prose.
